Bring Your E Bike The Longest Possible

So you’ve finally made the leap and purchased an electric bicycle, but instead of seeing the world, you keep seeing the “Empty” indicator on the battery meter. What’s the deal?
Well, a number of factors can influence the range and energy consumption of your eBike. Frictional forces are almost everywhere, and when you are on a bike you have something called rolling resistance. It happens on all bikes. This rolling resistance is caused by the interaction of the rubber tires with the roadway surface. When you tires are filled up to their capacity, then they have less resistance. Flat tires aren’t fast tires. Don’t go anywhere without using a tire gauge to check the air levels. But don’t over-inflate.
You know you filled them up too much when they feel then or end up damaged. Read on your tires to see how much air you should put in. It usually says something on the side and it is measured in psi (pounds per square inch). Pounds per square inch means that you are putting a certain amount of pounds of pressure on every square inch of the tire wall.
It may not be possible to generate enough pressure with a hand-operated bicycle pump to fully inflate your tires, especially if it is a bargain basement brand. The alternatives for self-inflation are a foot-operated pump, which uses leg power to develop higher pressure, or an electric inflation pump, which plugs into either an ac outlet or a car’s 12-volt accessory outlet. Bring your quarters if you are going to a filling station for some air, as they will charge your two to four quarters for the pressure that you need. Always ask an attendant first since you may be able to get it for free. But if you use a filling station air pump, you must purchase and use a tire pressure gauge which is properly calibrated for bicycle tires, since service station inflators are notoriously inaccurate and have the potential to blow your electric bicycles tire off the rim before you even know there’s a problem.
Bikes and the individuals that are riding them also experience air friction along with the friction from the tires being in contact with the ground. When you are moving, the air pushes back against you, which is why leaning forward can help you move faster. Air resistance grows exponentially in comparison to the rolling resistance we just talked about which grows proportionally with your speed. Going 40 mph can have four times as much air and wind resistance as going 20 mph. You have to take all of this, plus more when looking at extending the range of your electric cycle. Make sure that you find the best middle-ground with regards to your speed, and that you keep your tires inflated to the recommended pressure setting, and you should make a large discount on how much electric energy that you use.
By following what we have said in this article, you will let your cycle go farther and help you pedal less! You do not have to worry about the range that you are getting with the bike if you paid attention. Have fun!
Why not get a lot more folding bike in your lifetime. Find the hottest electric bicycles anywhere when you just simply look in the best location!
Workouts Safely In Hot Weather

Regular exercise is a must for everyone all round the year. Regardless of the season be it sweltering heat or biting cold, you shouldn’t give your exercise routine a skip. It has been noted that exercising during the hot weather could pave way to various heat related diseases. However, you need not fret. Here are few simple ideas that could help you exercise with ease regardless of the heat.
First things first, keep yourself hydrated. It’s crucial to drink fluids at normal intervals and that too in sufficient amounts. Try to focus more on drinking normal water instead of other fluids like fruit juices and any other. This holds more importance if you are fighting yeast infection. Reason being high sugar content of fruit juices worsens the problem of yeast infection. You may set the issue straight with the help of effective products such as Yeastrol Yeast Infection Treatment.
Wearing suitable clothes is also a must when you are exercising in hot weather. Go in for light, and loosely fitted clothes. Wearing exceptionally fitted clothes can irritate your skin and could cause skin problems like pimples. If you are handling the trouble already, then use efficient anti acne solutions like the Zenmed Derma Cleanse System. Go in for clothing material that can absorb your sweat.
Losing electrolytes is prevalent during exercises. However, you must replace them if you want to avoid falling ill as a result of exercising in very warm weather. Running on the treadmill will logically trigger perspiration. This sweat can scour away all essential minerals and salts from the body. You ought to drink lots of water or sports drinks to replace these vital substances. Oral rehydration salt is the finest way to return electrolytes to your body. Replacing these lost electrolytes becomes even more significant if you’ve been exercising for a period of ninety mins or more at a stretch.
Another important thing that you need to do in order to stay away from any heat related illness is give your body some time to get familiar with the heat. As it gets hotter, start with exercising for a shorter duration. You could gradually increase the length of your physical exercise. This will allow your body to accustom itself to the heat. As a result, there won’t be any drastic consequences when you exercise in hot weather. If you’re traveling to a hotter region, then make sure that you give your body some time to acclimate to the heat before you start working out.
Hence, the hot weather doesn’t necessarily have to be an impediment to regular exercises. With the safety measures described above, you may carry on with your training sessions without falling prey to the heat.

Cardio Kickboxing Helps Get You Fit

Many modern fitness and weight loss routines have lots of movements that were originally founded in fighting arts. Martial artists like boxers, mixed marital artists, and kick boxers all have to be in phenomenal shape to be successful in their disciplines. Cardio kickboxing programs such as Tae Bo, founded by professional kick boxer turned actor Billy Blanks have been popular since the 1990’s.
The longevity of cardio kickboxing routines lies in their effectiveness. These exercises involve kicking, punching and jumping — all in a continuous, non-stop routine. Not only will your muscles get stronger and faster, but your heart and lungs will become more efficient.
Another benefit that few people ever expect going into a physical strength and conditioning routine is better balance (mind and body), along with increased alertness due to the focus needed to concentrate on switching between movements.
How this any different from actual kick boxing and other martial art routines?
While kick boxing and other martial arts classes are great for conditioning, many people feel intimidated by the physical contact that is sometimes required in these classes: Cardio kickboxing classes don’t involve teaching fighting movements, or grappling with an opponent, but rather kick and punching the air and working your body with continuous movement.
Another intimidating aspect of traditional martial arts classes is how technique is constantly stressed. While technique is great for self-defense and competition purposes: Some of us just want to work out and have a good time while we’re doing it. Cardio kickboxing classes won’t leave you feeling like a failure if you can’t master the perfect punch or kick.
While Tae Bo was one of society’s first introductions to kickboxing fitness routines for physical health, there are many similar routines offered at gyms, along with millions of affordable videos and books available worldwide.

How To Beat Post Race Blues
July 28, 2010 by Ben Greenfield
You have trained for months on end and completed your goal race. The memories have been made, Post race parties are done and the structured training that was once a staple in your life is now gone and now you have a massive void in your life.
You are a changed person with no more race to strive for.
This is not uncommon. This is AKA, “post race blues”, it happens to all athletes after they have worked for months and years to achieve a goal and then reach it.
Post race blues is a natural situation. If you hand boundless joy, satisfaction and euphoria after achieving a goal chances are you would never have incentive to have another goal. You would just sit around a live in the past.
Heck, Ironman triathlon probably wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for the post-race blues, since folks would just keep on doing sprint triathlons as that would give them more than enough happiness. But post-race blues are a reality, and you do need to know how to handle your post-race blues to move on to bigger and better things. So in this article from the Rock Star Triathlete Academy coaches, you’ll learn three easy steps to beat the post-race blues.
How To Beat the Post-Race Blues Step #1: Log Your Journey. Often, post-race blues are amplified by a lack of closure, or the feeling that you finished an important event but still have unfinished business. Writing can be incredibly cathartic, and allow you to project these feelings onto paper, whether for yourself or the rest of the world. In the modern age, this is most easily achieved by blogging, with your race ramblings, your photos and your videos – but you can also simply write notes to yourself in a journal. Whichever method you decide, attempt to answer these questions: What did you do? How did you prepare? How did you feel during the event? How did you feel after the event? What would you change?
How To Beat the Post-Race Blues Step #2: Reboot and Refresh. If you try to “mask” your blues by jumping right back into swimming, cycling and running, you might last a couple weeks before mental fatigue and boredom set in. The same can be said for individuals who “Qualify for Kona” and jump right back into hard training, or don’t get the PR they wanted, and jump right back into hard training. So instead, you should “reboot and refresh”. How? Pick up a new sport (like golf), choose a new hobby (like studying red wine or playing the guitar) and find other sources of joy and fulfillment (like hanging out with your friends and family). Give yourself 2-3 weeks of complete down-time without any pressure to swim, bike or run.
How To Beat the Post-Race Blues Step #3: Make a New Goal. The void in you created through achieving your goal is begging to be filled with goal to aim for. After you feel recharged and ready to go do some research and find a event that makes you do back flips. New destination or distance may be just what you need. Sign up ASAP that way you are committed. It doesn’t always have to be a race it be dropping 20 pounds, getting a six pack or learning to play the guitar.
By following these three steps to beat the post-race blues, you can avoid the trap that many fall into: achieving a goal, becoming depressed from the empty void, then gaining 30 pounds or giving up on their sport because they just don’t know what to do next.

Make Trampolines Safe For Children With These Accessories

There is a good side and there’s a bad side to trampolines. Children see the good side, whereas parents see the bad side. Children see the fun, the excitement of flying; parents see the risks, the mishaps that attend this activity.
Parents concerned about this issue should buy safety accessories for their kid’s trampoline.
The trampoline net is a basic necessity. It surrounds the trampoline in such a way that a child cannot fall out of the trampoline. Since most trampoline accidents happen this way, the trampoline net is a must-buy.
The trampoline net is the first and foremost safety accessory that a worried parent should get. There are other accessories which also work to make the trampoline a safe form of exercise and play for children.
Equal in importance to the safety net is the padding on the frame of the trampoline. If Junior can fall out of the mat area, he might just as easily fall directly onto the hard steel frame that supports the trampoline mat. The impact of that collision is absorbed by the frame padding that comes with every trampoline. Time and use can damage the padding so that its cushioning effect is ineffective. If this is the case with the frame padding on your trampoline, then you should replace it at the earliest and avert a visit to the nearest emergency clinic!
You could also cover the trampoline to keep it dry when it drizzles. A slippery mat is an invitation to unpleasant situations involving the First Aid kit or worse. A trampoline net is ideal to keep the trampoline dry and clean.
There is no need to worry yourself sick every time your child goes out to play on trampoline. Just get these essential safety accessories and let the children enjoy themselves safely!
Two people will benefit. Your child will be safer, and you will be able to relax a little more.
To discover a great deal on a trampoline enclosure go to www.DiscountTrampoline.net. You’ll also learn why the trampoline is an ideal way for both kids and grown-ups to exercise. In fact, a mini or exercise trampoline is a relatively low cost yet fun way to get healthy.
